“Quasar” is a series of Audio and Light performance and Installation. is an ongoing and evolving initiative that encompasses a range of audio and light projects that morph in space and in different scales, exploring the intersection of light and sound within a contextual framework, searching how time and space intertwine, fostering a deeper awareness of our surroundings and our positioning within them.
It's investigating to create a synergy among space, light, and sound, as a complementary element by combining different techniques, when space serves as the canvas for the unfolding and evolution of this progress to contribute and intensify the psychological impact on our minds when we experience a loss of perception of time.
It’s exploring the correlation between our imaginative thoughts and the tangible reality we encounter, delving into the interplay of memories and the chaotic world we navigate.
“Quasar” is trying to stimulate the moments of disconnection between our mental realm, the passage of time, and our detachment from the immediate surroundings that pose a challenge to our grasp of time and space, trying not just to draw our attention to the present but reconstruct and challenging our perception and encouraging our imagination to contribute to this composition and making a reconnection with reality again.
This installation emerges from the project Quasar, an ongoing artistic research initiative
exploring the relationship between sound, light, space, and the perception of time. The
present work extends this research through new spatial, performative, and interactive
developments.
The project unfolds as an evolving audio and light environment shaped by space and human
presence. Sound and light operate as interdependent systems, continuously reconfigured
through interaction and bodily input, unfolding through variable and open-ended processes.
Human presence functions as a generative force within the work, where gestures,
movement, and proximity redefine the audio and light composition in real time. The
boundaries between audience and performer dissolve, positioning participation as an
integral component of the system.
The installation investigates multisensory experience and perceptual shifts, particularly in
relation to the distortion of temporal awareness. It examines how sensory stimuli, memory,
and imagination intersect with physical reality, producing moments of disorientation,
heightened attention, and sensory overlap.
The work remains in a continuous state of transformation, inviting a collective and embodied
reconstruction of space, time, and perception through shared presence.
